You send requirements. We send a price.
Four stages, in the same order every time. No calls, no discovery sessions, no chasing. You know what it costs before you commit to anything.
The four stages
-
You send your requirements
Write down what you need the software to do, in as much detail as you can manage. The clearer and more specific it is, the more accurate the price we can put against it.
-
We quote a fixed price
We work out what building it takes and give you one number in writing, with the scope it covers spelled out and a latest completion date attached to it. You accept it or you do not. There is no negotiation stage and no pressure to decide.
-
Build
You see it working while it is being built, not at the end. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately rather than absorbed, so the price you accepted stays the price.
-
Handover
Code, data, documentation and an export for everything. Bug fixes are free for 30 days after handover. Support after that is optional and separate.
Once it is live
Backed up every day
Your system and its data are backed up daily for as long as we host it. Ask for a copy of your data at any point and you get it in a standard format you can actually open elsewhere.
If something breaks
A live system that has stopped working goes to the front of the queue, ahead of new build work. Monitoring catches most problems before you notice them, and there is a way to reach us built into your own software so you are never hunting for a contact.
Hosting and upkeep are optional
A monthly arrangement covers hosting, security updates and monitoring. You can end it, and nothing in the software depends on it continuing. New features are quoted separately rather than absorbed into it.
What if I do not know what I need yet?
Send what you have. If the requirements are too thin to price honestly we will tell you what is missing rather than guess at a number and revise it later.
